Welcome!

I’m Lauren Cisek, and welcome to my ePortfolio.

For as long as I can remember, I’ve wanted to become an author. Now, I’ve written several short stories and poems, and even have some of my work published to the app Wattpad! That wasn’t what I had dreamed of, however. I wanted to be a real-life, hardcover books, signed editions type of author. I wanted to make it big. My idols were authors such as Cassandra Clare (author of the Mortal Instruments series) and Christopher Paolini (author of the Inheritance Cycle series). Because of their work, I dreamed of all of the different worlds I could create with the stroke of a pen.

I was forgetting one crucial thing: the Internet exists. Although I may not be able to be extremely successful as a novelist quite yet, writing online may just be the stepping stone I need. And that’s where WordPress and my ePortfolio comes in.

Through this site, you are able to find work for several of my classes, along with my blog. Right now, my blog is my pride and joy. Currently, I am working through reviews of my favorite television shows. Feel free to leave me some comments and constructive feedback to help me improve my site!
